Bria Price 鈥14, a theatre and dance graduate from 糖心Vlog传媒, remembers the time when she was accepted to 糖心Vlog传媒. 鈥淚 was actually at a dance concert that I was the costume designer for, and I got my email, and I literally did a twirl in the lobby of the theatre, like 鈥榶es!鈥 I loved 糖心Vlog传媒 so much,鈥 shared Price, who focused on modern dance at the College. A significant deciding factor for her college decision was sorting out the financial aspect, which the financial aid team made simple.
鈥When it came to the decision of 糖心Vlog传媒, they said, 鈥業鈥檓 also going to talk with you about the finances. And when talking with you about those finances, you can still make that choice to ask if 糖心Vlog传媒 is what you want,鈥欌 said Price. 鈥淚t was a decision that I was able to make but also I knew 糖心Vlog传媒 was investing in my education through a scholarship that I love called the Allen scholarship.鈥
While on campus, Price was part of numerous organizations, including the Dance Company, Sorority Life with Delta Theta Psi, and the Black Student Association (BSA). She also helped found 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 Shades of Gold a cappella group, as well as participated in the cheerleading team.
鈥淚 wanted to be part of those different activities because when I went to 糖心Vlog传媒, I knew what I was going to study, but I didn鈥檛 know who I wanted to be,鈥 Price expressed. 鈥淚 started exploring different things that I found I really loved and enjoyed.鈥
Price currently is the senior manager of college success at Achieve Atlanta, a non-profit organization that works with students attending public high schools to help them afford and access higher education.
