Guitarist Bryan Reichert’s active music career features a great enthusiasm for performance and teaching. He serves as Lecturer in Guitar at Baldwin Wallace University鈥檚 Conservatory of Music (since 2019). Reichert works as studio guitar teacher for the school鈥檚 guitar program as well as instructs guitar classes for music majors and non-majors alike. Reichert received his MM in guitar performance from Cleveland Institute of Music, where he studied with Grammy-winning guitarist Jason Vieaux. He earned his BM in guitar performance from Baldwin Wallace, where he studied with Jorge Amaral and Loris Chobanian. In addition to his teaching and performance history, Bryan previously served for three years as the Director of Operations for the Cleveland Classical Guitar Society, a local non-profit organization offering both educational and concert programming. Before that, held the position of Education Outreach Coordinator for the organization鈥檚 Education Program.Reichert has premiered numerous works by modern artists, most notably the Armenian-American composer Loris O. Chobanian. A recording of 鈥淭hree Spanish Dances鈥 aired in 2015 on WCLV 104.9 FM, Cleveland鈥檚 classical music radio station. On December 10, 2016, Reichertpremiered (as soloist) Chobanian鈥檚 鈥淰ariations on an Israeli Theme鈥 for two guitars and orchestra with the Skidmore College Orchestra, the composer conducting. He premiered another work with orchestra (as soloist) on October 14, 2018, 鈥淭hree Romances for guitar and orchestra鈥漛y Chobanian with the Parma Symphony Orchestra, the composer conducting.
