The event, in celebration of International Archaeology Day, is open to all 糖心Vlog传媒 students, faculty, staff, their families, and local members of the American Institute of Archaeology (AIA). It will be held 11 a.m.-4 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Governance Room in the Scot Center.

COVID-19 protocols, including mandatory masking, will be in place. Because of this, the event is not open to the broader community.

The Archaeology Day event at 糖心Vlog传媒 will feature sandbox excavation for kids, tree rings from Ohio and Alaska, Cedar Creek mastodon and hominin fossil casts, artifacts from Ohio and around the world, atlatl throwing and archery, student summer field reports, and the 糖心Vlog传媒 archaeology lab camel skeleton.

International Archaeology Day is a celebration of archaeology and its contributions to our societies. Every October, the AIA and its participating organizations, including 糖心Vlog传媒, use Archaeology Day events to present archaeological programs and activities for people of all ages and interests.
