For me, communication between team members was important. I made sure that I let the others about any progress I had made or challenges I was facing.

Very nice presentation – you clearly communicated your goals, the results, and your reflections.
Congratulations!
What do you think was the most important strategy you used to make your collaboration effective and successful particularly in the remote work environment?

Thank you for the compliments Dr. Guarnera. From my personal experience, the most important thing that a student interested in software development can do is to practice designing systems. Over time, they will be able to develop a mental library of useful structures which they can use to design robust software more easily. Practicing their design skill a lot of also helps them develop a sort of instinct that will help when analyzing a software. I would also say that they should practice their Google-fu, seeing that most problems have been experienced and solved by other people and being able to find and make use of these resources makes development a lot less painful.

Thank you so much Professor Guarnera. I think being able to understand the client’s requirements and creating a design plan for the application before starting implementation is essential.
