Thank you for watching! It was incredible to be able to network with so many professionals in higher education! My 糖心Vlog传媒 professors have definitely been very considerate and thoughtful, acknowledging the higher barriers that students are facing this semester. I haven’t had a specific conversation with any of my professors about it, but it is clear that the professors have tailored their classes with these barriers in mind. I am impressed with how they have converted their classes, allowing for the greatest amount of accessibility possible.

Thank you so much Burim! It was definitely an involved process to apply for the fellowship. You have to write essays on your goals for the experience and how you will accomplish them, as well as get recommenders from campus. I also had to communicate a lot with my host organization to figure out the finer details of my plan for the fellowship which had to be sorted out for the application. Finally, I also had to convey to APEX how I could do my internship remotely. I know some other students with fellowships worked on-site, and they also had to get approval from APEX to ensure that it would be safe. I think the major difficulties were in figuring out how to make the fellowship remote.

What an exciting opportunity to get to work on a tutor training course, and network with Math Center directors around the country. I鈥檓 curious if any of your 糖心Vlog传媒 professors have talked to you about what you鈥檝e learned about barriers to remote learning.

First of all, congratulations on completing your APEX Fellowship this past summer! I really enjoyed listening to your presentation as well! My question for you is kind of a more broader type of question, but what was applying for an APEX Fellowship like? Were there any difficulties that you came across when applying for this APEX fellowship?
