Hi Cathy,
Thanks for the comment! In terms of the work load and my experience, I actually didn’t expect to be as busy or as involved as I was. I am grateful for this however as it really pushed me to learn as much as I can and put my skills (organization specifically) into practice.
If I were able to visit my host organization I believe it would have helped me feel more apart of the organization and allowed me to get an understanding of the work culture and expectations. Overall I don’t think this would have largely impacted my experience as my supervisor went above and beyond to make sure I felt included and that my ideas and work were validated.

So I have to ask – to what extent did the work match your expectations – and given the inability to travel to the site for the intended week’s stay – how would you see that as having changed your experience? I know you mad the most of it!

Great presentation and thank you for providing advice for others who want to pursue a similar position! It was so nice to revisit your journey. (Also, I didn’t realize Beagle was going to open a restaurant and bar). Congrats on the Andrew Award!
