Hi Dr. Freeze, thanks for you comment. Jeff would definitely be slightly horrified by the yard sign, but even if it’s not the most effective method of reaching voters I’m glad I have it as a piece of campaign memorabilia.
I don’t entirely know what the transition process looks like for her yet, but the rest of the team and I will definitely be around if there’s anything she could use our help with. I’m sure I’ll also be doing some more phone banking come 2022!
Thanks so much for your guidance this summer!

Hi Jenni, thanks for you comment! I had considered running for office before this internship, but seeing how the whole process works makes it feel more attainable and it gave me a good sense of both the good and the bad aspects of campaigning that I would have to deal with if I ever decided to run.

Wonderful presentation of the great work that you did for the campaign! I was especially delighted by the pictures. Turns out I never really had quite the right phone-banking scene in my mind’s eye, and it was great to see the yard-sign cameo (what would Jeff say?).
I’m so glad to learn that Tarra Simmons won! Congrats! Can you envision doing more for her office as she transitions to life as a state representative?
It was a privilege to accompany you virtually throughout the internship!
